Saosin's Translating The Name EP is absolutely perfect. From Beginning to end Anthony Green makes this album. This simply blows anything the band has done with out Mr. Green seem dwarfed. From the first song, "Seven Years" they set a tone of perfection. With the unique high pitched vocals only Anthony can deliver combined with the perfect amount of screaming the album will drop you jaw within the first minute. Followed by songs like "Translating The Name" and "Third Measure In C" which both contain lyrics that are meaningful and full of emotion. During the final two songs of this EP you will only become sad that you know it is almost over. I don't know how to say how good this album is. It is perfect, amazing, jaw dropping, spectacular, and explosive. Saosin's best work is on this. If you are a fan or have only heard the name of the band you owe it to yourself to at least give this a listen. Translating The Name is perfect, too bad it is the only Saosin album you will hear that is this good.
