Oh, The Dangerous Summer.
I want to hate you for your blend of catchy lyrics and toe-tapper jams with your witty one liners. However, I buried my dislikes towards pop-punk thriller bands deep, deep within my head and tried to approach your EP with an open mind. Thankfully, I did because I was impressed. For an EP, If You Could Only Keep Me Alive, packs the explosive punch of a full length and, more shockingly and unlike most dull pop-punk albums, has a punch.
He likes it, Mikey likes it!
Yes, it isn't a half bad attempt. The anthem-like "Of Confidence" is probably the most brillant end to an EP this year and the five minute opener "I Would Stay" describes the concept that crossed my head. I'll stay and listen. The EP didn't have any of those annoying filler tracks and there were no 'fuck this track' tracks. "He wrote this song for you" and, if I were you, I'd kiss him (or at least put your doubts aside and give it a shot).
