What the hell is this? Two guys jamming to the likes of Black Sabbath? It's been done. Hold on a minute... That's just two guys?? This is intense! This is better than some of the 5 piece crunch rock that is out on the market right now. The first track "Starhok" contains riffs that remind me of Rush's "Spirit of Radio" mixed with early Eddie Van Halen guitar bits, all along maintaining a thunderously heavy sound. Track two 'The Witch' has some indeciferable lyrics but still remniscent of Sabbath. C Average loads up Second Rekoning with the hugest riffs and don't even seem pretentious in the process. The album package must be mentioned: on the front there is a picture of a stained glass window and under closer inspection one realizes that the holy figure in indeed a drummer. Once opened you will see a matching window with a guitar player. C Average is very ingenious.
