RecommendPacking a voice like a cross between Janis Joplin and Etta James with some hot blues licks this album does nothing but charm. The album consists of mostly her own material and the covers she chooses are not the popular ones everyone does (Angel From Montgomery). Everytime I throw this disc on she scares me from her vocals to her guitar licks. There is a reason this blues girl keeps winning the coveted Handy Award. She's good and she is leading the pack of new blues players coming out right now.
