RecommendEx-Scud Mountain Boy Joe Pernice has the blues and is not afraid to sing about it. Chappaquiddick Skyline is an achingly beautiful masterpiece. You can hear the emotion in every note that Joe sings and every lyric seems to hang forever. If you are accustomed to his previous efforts Scud Mountain Boys and Pernice Brothers you might be a bit suprised at how personal this album seems. His other two band were a little more on the country edge where as CS is soft sweet heartbreaking music. The lyrics are beautiful - the instrumentation is sublime. Joe Pernice has hit upon yet another winner here.
