My feelings on Year Zero Remixed are very simple. This is by far the best remix album I've ever laid ears on since Reanimation from Linkin Park and even that album would cower in the presence of this monster. Songs like "Hyperpower!" remixed into a political rap with one of the catchiest hip-hop chorus' I've ever heard (It is called Guns By Computer on the album). Songs that sound like remixes on the original album even got re-vamped into an entirely original type of remix. The original "The Great Destroyer" was an electronic song that heavily vamped on a monotone sound, I didn't think it could be remixed well. Boy was I wrong! The remix has been changed into an acoustic/electronic song with an actual chord progression that is unique and original.

The remix for "Survivalism" was a bonus track on the original Year Zero release but it was one of my favorite tracks on Year Zero and now remains one of the better tracks of Year Zero Remixed. Just when you think it can't get better, "Meet Your Master" comes on as a choppy version of the original which implements heavy bass and synthesized vocals to make it sound forceful. If Trent Reznor had told me to jump off of a bridge in this song, I'd probably do it. I even found myself captured entirely by a 14 minute version of "Me, I'm Not"

Year Zero Remixed is simply stunning and one would be making a huge mistake passing it up. I suggest buying this, then buying another copy for your kids, and forcing them to buy copies for their future children
