Not to be bland, the Annuals constantly change the flow of thr progression of this album. The music itself follows a consitent sound, but man, oh man do the tracks differ in experience. "Dry Clothes" will leave you chanting along with the dreary background. "Carry Around" leaves you feeling skitzy and drug-induced with what sounds like some kind of drug trip opening - "I've got lots of pills in my pocket. If you want some, I like to share". "Bleary Eyed", in my opinion the killer track on the album reminds you of sweetness and innocence. The Annuals do not fail to deliver on this album, with constantly changing overtones backed by fantastic, entrancing melodies and sometimes haunting, sometimes strung-out, but always fitting vocals. Check out "Be He Me" if you're ready for a something that provides a completely new experience every time you pop it in.

I can't remember who on the site recommended The Annuals to me but Be He Me is an awesome pop album. Kind of reminds me of the Cure. I'll be back to write an official review soon.
