Air Traffic’s yearning, lingering touch collides head on with the jaunty, dialogue indie approach of Pigeon Detectives, as Hertfordshire quartet, Look See Proof build towards a potentially attention grabbing debut album. This sauntering single seems a good choice for its eight pints of lager drenched philosophy. David Sells’ sliding bass lines give ‘Do You Think It’s Right’ a twining loft to cushion Lee Sells’ high pitch, dawdling vocals that cry out from underneath the rubble of mundane life.

 

‘Don’t Say A Word’, continues the self-pitying theme but makes its objections through a fuzzier electro slant. Turning towards the direction of Rakes and the stammering chorus gives off a disco friendly vibe.   Having already caught the ears of the SXSW Festival organisers and earned a slot on one of the most respected festivals in the world this year. Look See Proof has timed things just right and, they are set to feed on the current appetite of music purchasers for seedy, harmonious indie. Whilst the Pigeon Detectives hide away, practicing their cooing for a second album, it’s either great timing or lady fate has taken a shine to them?
