I'm not what punk innovators and critics would consider a smooth reviewer or a loaded gun. Truth is, I'm barely even familiar with the sound, and considering its stereotypical consumer base, that's usually the perfect candidate for reviewing new music, as I'm open minded. Unlike the stereotypical punks, there is no twit reaction to review someone poorly cause they're not indie enough. Simply put, either the music is driven and passionate, or its crap.
Seemingly Siamese Dogs Records has compiled a genuine CD that snob punks should be satsified with, but what do I know. As far as musically, varied instrumentation and artist involvement dedicates to a chaotic punk sound spanning 20 years of the LA scene. Iggy Pop and The Stooges, Max Lazer, The Controllers, and The Weasels are just a few of the legendary punk outfits highlighted on this 19 track disc.
