you gotta like daryl palumbo to appreciate this one as a whole, i think. but some songs are just downright fun/great (though not musical masterpieces).

You only like one Bright Eyes song...... that is ludacris haha. I love them all! Head Automatica has had some good stuff. Their older stuff is better....

It's weird to say, but I associate head automatica with Bright Eyes in that there is only one song that I've heard that I really like and I've tried to get into this band.
Beating Hearts Baby is really the only head automatica song that I like.

First off let me start by saying that if you haven't heard this album it's definitely recommended. 2nd if you haven't heard of Daryl Palumbo then something is seriously wrong with you. This is his "side project" from his actual band GLASSJAW. The reason I found this album so magnificent is that I KNOW how much of a difference this is from GLASSJAW. GJ is screamo and fairly intense, and that presence from Daryl clearly comes through in decadence. The music is catchy/discotech kinda, but really energetic. The beats are fresh and the sound is nice. Get it

Please do. I own both Decadence and Popaganda, and Decadence is roughly 6 million times better (in my opinion, at least).

I've heard Popaganda but not Decadence. I'll track it down and give it shot. Thanks!

Ok wow... so Head Automatica never made it to ME. Don't know why I didn't search for them before, but it's little consequence. Head Automatica is the musical equivalant to dynamite. Not the cheesy expression, but the explosiveness of the band warrants that description. From start to finish, Decadence will leave your speaker capabilities in question, along with your brain cells from headbanging or dancing around too much. Daryl Palumbo has the vocal range like the Grand Canyon, and he shows it in this debut album. All I'm going to say is this: if you want something that's edgy yet quality, and at the same time will ignite your playlist, check out this CD. Oh, and they have a song titled, "I Shot William H. Macy". I mean, c'mon!
