RecommendMadre De Dios is the sophomore album for Mans Ruin artist Dozer. Dozer is a Swedish band that writes all their songs in English and praises the ground on which Kyuss once stood. Yes, another stoner rock band but when light the bong and throw Dozer in you will end up nodding your head feverishly. Dozer manages to get that heavy as hell sound that is thick as mud. There is way more that a little Black Sabbath influence here, especially on the instrumental “Earth Yeti�. This is yet another one of those stoner rock bands that aren’t really pushing the boundaries of the genre but can play a heavy riff to pieces. They take the Kyuss formula and space it out a bit more. It’s rock and roll to the max. Dozer rocks with the best of the genre.
