Talk about a long space trip; Oren Bloedow and Jennifer Charles have created an eerie album that borders on the edge of insanity. Even though the songs are all more or less whispered out you can feel built up tension behind every word. The Queen of the Meadow could mean anything from a pixie fairy to an actual queen bee as you could easily imagine Jennifer mimicking on stage. The guitar provided by Oren is almost as haunting as Jennifer's beautiful whispy vocals. After having their second album, Steve Albini produced, scrapped by former label Radioactive they felt the desire to provide their fans with a quality recording. They have done just that and more. This album provides even more beauty and mezmerising qualities than their debut. The production is perfect allowing every whisper and instrument find it's way into your subconscience.
