RecommendYes! The Figgs have returned with a little slab of pop bliss. The Figgs are a band that have never received the recognition they deserve. This short ep (7 songs) is superb and the funny thing about it is they ran out of money and put it out before final mixes were done. This album is quite as punchy as their previous efforts but it seems as though the songwriting has matured and aged gracefully. The titles show that much thought went into the songs with name like "Excuse the Lame Excuse" and "I Thought I Drank the Drink, But the Drink". Power pop has never glistened like this even in it's so called raw form. As far as I'm concerned this band can do no wrong and one day their efforts will be recognized to others than their rabid fans. They did it for the music!
