I agree with SolitaryMan on this one. Coming from albums such as Enthrone Darkness Triumphant and Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia where the brief moments clear music come into play were like a breath of fresh air through all the guitar and screaming. The album was great, but it would be refreshing to see Dimmu go back to their old style of dark, heavy, and sometimes, melodic.

I don't care how far from true Black Metal this band got, they're just great extreme and epic metal. This album is a bit too symphonic and structured at times, but it comes together nicely on songs like "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse" and "Unorthodox Manifesto".
