RecommendCinematic Sunrise burst onto the scene with their release of the EP A Coloring Storybook And Long Playing Record. The first thing many people notice about this band is that Craig Owens, of Chiodos fame, is the front man. Surprising to most, especially because this band is nothing even close to Chiodos. Interestingly enough, he just fits in with the rest of the puzzle pieces to make a beautiful picture. The music is very soothing and puts you in a happy place. It's an enjoyable listen for people interested in pop-rock. The album leaves much room for the listener to imagine on how Cinematic Sunrise can grow in the future. Songs such as The Wordless, Our Honeymoon At Weston Hills, and Pulling A Piano From A Pond are the songs that will draw you into this album and hook you right in. The thing that makes this album work so well together is that the music and vocals compliment each other so much. It's quite impressive for a bands EP. Expect to hear more about this band in the future, they have the potential to make it far.

the album is definitely different. But it's a breath of fresh air and its something you would listen to while driving on the road. possibly.
