This little ep has everything that 80's synth pop ever was and more. The Future Bible Heroes are made up of Christopher Ewen who wrote the music for this ep. He plays with Stephin Merritt in Magnetic Fields. Speaking of which Stephin is also a member of FBH and provides all the lyrics to the smart synth pop the band makes. His voice lends a sort of meloncholic easiness to the otherwise in your face type of dance music. Also in the band is Claudia Gonson who is also a p/t member of Magnetic Fields. She lends a hand in the vocal department. The sound of the Future Bible Heroes is very similar to that of the Magnetic Fields with a super retro dance feel to it in a New Order kind of style. Forget what year it is and just enjoy the retro-dance feel that Stephin and crew do so well.
