RecommendThe guys in Get Up Kids had high expectations coming into their sophomore album. Talks of major label signings were abundant and the boys chose to stay as independants. Smart idea whether it was for creative freedom or maybe they felt they weren't ready. This album is a gem for pop/punk fanatics with their almost trademark catchy riffs and harmonies. It is complete with the variety of songs as well. Ballads and rockers are splattered all over the album. The kids know how to write a song and aren't afraid to show it either. With the right backing financially they just might make it in the big leagues.
