The Scandinavian countries are putting American rock n roll to shame with their slew of hard rocking bands coming out. On of the latest is the mighty Gluecifer which are a throwback to old crunchy rock / metal bands of the 1980's but they somehow manage to shake off all comparisons to any particular band. You might hear a bit of Jackyl or Bulletboys going on here but this is way to cool to compare. Producer Daniel Rey, of The Ramones and White Zombie fame, takes control here and let's the band take care of business and makes them crisp and clear. The unique thing about Gluecifer is that the five member band started out as a punk band and they managed to funnel all that punk energy into rock 'n' roll. Short and sweet and to the point is the style of rock that the band plays. I will only mention one track title and that is "The General Says Hell Yeah!" and that pretty much sums up the band. Watch out for their live show. I've heard that it's one not to be missed.
