One of the greatest things about This Providence, is that they always find a way to stay true the genre they represent. Even though The Bright Lights is a four track EP it's still an okay album. I wouldn't pay too much money for it, especially since two of the tracks are the same, one is just acoustic. Waste Myself and Hopeless are both really good tracks, amazing b-sides to their self-titled album. The new version of My Beautiful Rescue is interesting, but works a lot better as the acoustic slow version heard on their self titled album. You can't blame This Providence for trying though, they showed a glimpse of what could be, the direction that they are heading in with their next full length album. It sounds great for what it's worth, but only time will tell if the rest of their new material will sound as good as this.
