Clouds - We Are Above You
With all the generic cookie cutter PopRock that comes across my desk, I enjoy my moments of Grunge/Punk. Clouds, a growing Indie Massachusetts favorite around here has given me a much needed break this time around. Like the kool-aid drinkers of Danzig, for the most part Clouds brings to the table a unique blend of melody and without a care punk. Some songs like Heisenberg Says and Playing Dark have a strong tempo and quick masterful bridges. While others like The Bad Seat and Glass House Rocks have a slower rhythm that rolls along. Overall, it seems after two straight favorable reviews from MusicEmissions, Clouds is an up and coming artist with room to breathe about their status in the music industry.
