Aswad - Roots Revival
Aswad have been pluging away now for about 25 years with quite a bit of success. The have been touted as Britains favorite reggae band. With Root Revival they take a few classic reggae songs and throw in a few of their own. Cheb Mami makes an apearance on "Best times of our lives" which adds a lot to their sound. Maybe inspired by the awful reggae Police album that came out a couple of years ago is the version of "Invisible Sun" with Sting helping out. It is actually quite good. The album as a whole isn't breaking any new grounds but it is enjoyable all the same.
