Jet is nothing more than a radio rock band. This shallow attempt of a band did absolutely nothing to make themselves sound any different than any other band on the radio. In fact, they have been accused of ripping off other artists right down to the riffs and chords. Every song on Get Born is purely unoriginal and has no appeal whatsoever. 

One thing that I cannot get by is how horrible they sound at trying to imitate other band's songs. There are two singles from the Get Born, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and "Cold Hard Bitch". Perfect examples of what your band should not sound like if you want to be taken seriously as a band. Everything else on the album just sounds just like a cliche band would sound.

Jet shamelessly rips off countless great bands in their attempt to jump into the spotlight. Since Get Born, Jet has released other albums, but I can't imagine what those sound like and I refuse to listen to them after my near death experience with this thing called an album.
