RecommendBurning Spear aka. Winston Rodney is probably second only to Bob Marley for most recognizable reggae stylings. Chant down Babylon collects all the recordings he has done for Island records as well as some rarities and dub versions. No doubt one of reggaes most highly looked upon and coveted poets of Jamaica. Anyone familiar with Finley Quaye? He stole a lot of what he knows about reggae from spear. A must in anyones reggae collection.
