Wunderbugg is a electronic group coming your way via Seattle Washington. They have a lovely organic sound that is quite timeless in delivery. Although they do remind me of a few bygone DJs and such, they are capable of transcending the stale electronica world and becoming an interesting group.
Their music is primarily instrumental but if you follow electronic music you may find yourself in the middle of trance and house music. But you'll be left scratching your head because a lot of these instruments are actually live. The group consists of keyboardist Whidden Flores, pianist Nick Evans, and the effects processing of Lorin Atzen.
Some of the tracks on Written In Flesh could have been left off like "Unsaid". It felt a little awkward. And the following track, "Sterile" sounded dated. The guitar they implement closer to the end doesn't fit. For the most part Written In Flesh is a great album for those electronic fans out there. I do think that Wunderbugg could achieve greatness but for now we'll settle for Written In Flesh. They are close but need some work.
