LoveHateHero's second album White Lies is somewhat of a departure from their heavy sound in Just Breathe, but I think that it was for the better. White Lies features some great vocals and very solid guitar that make for a very good album. Their sound is similar to bands like Funeral For A Friend and Escape The Fate, so if your a fan of either, this is album is right up your alley.
Every song on White Lies is worth mentioning. My favorite track is "I'll Make It To Brigades", and for damn good reasons. "I'll Make It To Brigades" gives control of the song to the singer so that the drummer and guitarist can show off a little bit while the singer still has the room to switch between octaves mid lyric. "She Puts The Ho In Homewrecker" is another great song. Instead of the singer taking control, it's the guitarists turn, and he's able to lay down some structure so that the singer can take a different approach with more high pitched screaming and less of the growls. White Lies is a very well put together album and it is definitely a must for any metalcore fan.
