Strangely enough "Part Of Me" ended up in my review list and here's my review: Crap! WTF are you thinking Chris? You ain't no Terrence Trent D'arby. No, stick to what you do best. ROCK! Stay out of the pop territory. God.

Ha, and I just caught this story over on Stereogum, 75% of Soundgarden + Tad Doyle = Tadgarden! Tad singing on some Soundgarden classics actually isn't as scary as it sounds.

What the hell? I had no prior knowledge of this album up until this point (color me ignorant), and just from the words here I poked around his myspace and listened to a few tracks from it...WHY? What the hell possesses a man with this much credibility to resort to pre-programmed bullshit, vocal effects that dilute talent in favor of some sort of half-assed "cool factor" and...TIMBALAND? Are you kidding me? What, was Danger Mouse busy? Chris Cornell, you just took a big, steaming shit on your fans, and I hope the pre-teen girls that replace them keep your confidence up. You're an asshole.

I haven't heard this or really have any desire too especially now reading what you guys have said about it. However, I think if he were to go back to soundgarden like dennis said, I'm sure he would fit right back in there. I think it's just the people around him on this record, and the direction he wanted to go, is why it sucks. Soundgarden rules.

Wow, yea Im on the same bout, I've only heard the one big single, which I wont lie, I enjoyed hearing him diversify. But bottom line is of the two or three other songs I streamed, you couldn't pay me to take that stuff. I'm not sure Soundgarden should ruin its legacy with this new cornell on board.

Great review of a shitty album. I really haven't given this album a shot and you know, I don't think I will give Scream the time of day. It is really sad to think that Cornell has slipped to this level. I couldn't get into Audioslave either. Maybe time for him to think about a Soundgarden reunion to resurrect his career.

It is hauntingly and despairingly the worst album I've ever had the misfortune to listen to, it's even too bad to put into the trash, my trash is too good for such an appalling waste of time. It really is that abysmal.

Chris Cornell was an idol of mine and he has managed to taint that with what can only be described as a musical crisis for him.

His voice is digitally altered and if you have heard his past works, you'll know that this once talented singer and songwriter doesn't need that. The melodies are mediocre at best and the repetition is cringe worthy when you look back to how deep, complex and well constructed his previous music was.

I wouldn't mind him turning to pop if he did it well, but he didn't. Timberland created a monster and Chris Cornell let him. Did such a master of music think this was acceptable or even good? I really can't comprehend what happened here.

A few places on the album seem promising or you think "I could have done something with that", but those optimistic highs are short lived and it isn't long before your hopes and aspirations for the album come crashing down, along with the worthiness of the album itself.

The fact that this album was ever made is just twisted.
