If one thing history’s proven, it’s that musical talent knows no age. Developing her soul infused country/folk style very early, Breanna Kennedy’s done a lot, already sharing stages with The Who’s Pete Townsend and worked with Danielle Brisebois, Rodney Jerkins and No Doubt’s Tony Kanal. Utah born, Cali bred Breanna, armed with powerful pipes, now sets her sights promisingly on Nashville as she looks to gain a new audience in Music City. With a new single receiving radio play, 2015 looks to be a promising one.
I connected with Breanna backstage at The She Rocks Awards held at this year’s NAMM Show after her performance to chat about her nerdy tendencies (“Game of Thrones”, anyone?) , working with Pete, Rodney and Tony, her Stevie Nicks and Pink influences and 2015 plans.
