Chatting with Latin music newcomer Renzo, it’s easy to see he’s got charisma for days. For anyone who’s seen him live, he was born to be onstage. With two singles climbing the Billboard Tropical charts including Aventura superstar Romeo Santos penned “Perdí El Control”, the Dominican Queens, NY born dancer/recording artist’s future tiene promesa. Repping a new generation of bilingual Latinos who want some R&B (Michael Jackson and Usher) with their merengue, I’m eager to hear his new album, which he told me will blend the genres with a mix of English and Spanish songs.

I connected with Renzo while he was in Miami recently to chat about his MJ love (we both got stories), how he came to sing a Romeo Santos song and a few personal tidbits (ladies, he might not mind going shopping with you) along the way. Follow Renzo on <a Twitter and Facebook for more album and live show info!
