Another festival (Bonnaroo) bites the dust

According to several reports, Bonnaroo, which, since its inception in 2002, has always been more of a hippy or jamband festival, opened with Metallica and Chris Rock last night. Additionally while the roster of artists playing does have a nice variety, these artists have been selected to sell tickets. Which if you’re a fan of the Bonnaroo festival, then you know it was started to offer an alternate choice to those festivals that focus on ticket sales. You’ve got to be kidding… Sooner or later a festival will come along, and stick to its guns!!!

It’s a shame.. Fuck Metallica.
Bites the dust? Haha, Metallica doesn’t kill everything, people, no matter how bad some of you wish they did. Look at that lineup, you’re not going to find so many great bands in one place like that too often. So it’s not exactly all underground artists, who cares; it’s about the music and that sounds like some great music up and down the card.
