A lot of people look to the Mercury Prize for some of the years best music. The 2008 nominee shortlist has just been announced and there are a few on here that I haven’t even heard yet. Adele, Estelle, Laura Marling, Neon Neon, Portico Quartet and Rachel Unthink are among the ones I haven’t heard. Do you think the beloved Radiohead will unceremoniously win this years Mercury? I would hope that Elbow gets it for their amazing Seldom Scene Kid album.
