Canadian Music Week is a once-in-a-year opportunity to get your band in the face of over 3,000 movers and shakers in the industry. You could be among some of the hottest new bands that will hit Toronto. In 2008, CMW is strategically situated on the weekend preceding SXSW, giving international bands the advantage to budget dates more effectivelyFrom March 5-8, 2008 Toronto’s most popular clubs and music halls throw open their doors to industry insiders and the general public to create an electrifying musicfest of discovery. The talented unsigned bands are music to the ears of A&R reps on the lookout for next year’s stars. Whether it’s the next “big thing” or one of today’s hottest concert hit-makers, you’ll find what you’re looking for at the Festival. This year’s submissions will be taken exclusively through Sonicbids.

As an added bonus, all accepted bands will have the opportunity to be featured in the “Artist Spotlight” on our homepage at www.cmw.net, with a link back to your Sonicbids EPK. Bands will be spotlighted on a weekly basis, so don’t put off your chance to be recognized until the end. In addition, all entrants will receive a free year’s subscription to Canadian Musician magazine.

Ha, you don’t subscribe to the page scanning technique? I read 100s of web pages a day. I don’t read EVERYTHING! Maybe I should but then I could only read 50.
Lol, not to be argumentative, when I scan and find something interesting, I go back and read again to ensure what I read was what I saw the first time lol. Then again, disappointment starts with your instinctful reaction, so I imagine your disappointment, sorry lol.
