I had a chat with Anthony Gonzalez from M83 and we were talking about bands he’s been listening to lately. More precisely, bands that most people wouldn’t have heard about. There were two bands that really stood out for Anthony and then he listed off some other albums he’s been listening to this year

• Chairlift – Does You Inspire You?: Sounds very 80s. Really had a crush on her voice. You may have heard their track “Bruises” on the iPod Nano commercial.
• French band, Fortune – Electronic, some guitars, rock. They are preparing first album and have only released a 5 song EP available on iTunes.

Anthony mentioned that M83 will be touring for the next little while and start work on his new album in February.
