Takka Takka themselves are a band that you should know about. Their new album this year, Migration is something of wonderful underground material. Here are some of the bands/albums that Takka Takka think you should know about:
- Inlets: They don’t have a record out yet, but they are making some amazing music. I love Sebatian’s voice and melodic sense. Go see them make music when you can.
- Dragons Of Zynth: They are a relentless barrage of art music. One of the best live shows I have been to in a long time.
- The Feelies – The Good Earth : A great record. A great band.
- Nico Muhly – Mothertounge : This is such an amazing record from an amazing composer. Is it indie-rock, classical music, or some fever dream? Who cares- it’s lovely.
- Brian Eno -Â Another Green World: We could not do what we do without Eno.
