In 1967 an album would be released that wouldn’t really make much of an impression until much later. Love was an American rock band led by Arthur Lee. They had a couple albums out before their arguable classic Forever Changes. Regardless, this is an album you need in your collection. It is a cornerstone for so much other psychedelic music that has been made in the past 40 years. Here’s my old review of Forever Changes (please pardon the brevity of it, it was when I was first starting out.)

such an amazing album. the last song–”you set the scene”–is my one of my favorite clsc rock songs of all time.
