Crooked X is a hard rock band from Coweta, Oklahoma, USA, consisting of members Forrest French (lead vocals/guitar), Jesse Cooper (lead guitar/backup vocals), Josh McDowell (bass), and Boomer Simpson (drums).
Here are Jesse’s top five bands/albums
- Black Stone Cherry – Great songs, great live,great bunch of guys from Kentucky.
- Shinedown – The Sound of Madness is one of the best albums of the last ten years. Great Singer Brent Smith.
- Foster Child – Former members of The band Tantric, Great live band and they do a smokin cover of HungerStrike from Temple of the Dog.
- Parlor Mob – Amazing music bringin a little bit of soul into modern rock.
- Anything from Clutch is great, a very overlooked and underrated group of kick butt musicians. They have the groove and the heavy stuff.
