Aw man, so I actually have to sign up for one of these stupid social networking sites.. ugh, so far I’ve been able to avoid myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. That’s a pretty solid prize pack though so I might just sign up. Just for the sake of clarity, you won’t be accepting answers via a reply here on the site? Only twitter?

If you aren’t into twitter, send your guess to info@musicemissions.com . We’ll get you right back if you have the right answer posted. Cool? BTW – Where ya been Nasty? We’ve missed you.

Time’s running out. Any more guesses? It’s a good podcast regardless. Thanks Brian!

No, I had fun with it…I know its over poppy chart success, one right after another for the most part, but I enjoyed working with my cousins Lynde n Kayse Boling on it…Anyways… real simple concept…Let me help things out a bit

    Bleed – Soulfly
    Walk This Way – Aerosmith
    Feel Good – (hed) Pe
Know Your Enemy – Rage Against The Machine
    Flyentology – El-P
Bring The Noise – Public Enemy
    Deftones – Passenger

I’ve been kind’ve busy lately with work and then took a week long vacation to NJ so haven’t had too much time for the interwebz, but should be on pretty steadily for the time being. Anyway, I love these themecasts, always been into puzzles and stuff like this. This was a tough one for me, I kept thinking one thing and then the next song would throw me off. I think I got a fairly accurate guess in though, just hope it wasn’t too late. By the way, that last song is killer, the Deftones with Maynard collaboration.

    Lee

    “Songs with Guest appearances”
    “Collaborations”
    “Songs Featuring”

…were all acceptable answers..Regardless, Hope you guys enjoyed Here’s the final actual playlist…

1.Bleed – Soulfly – Featuring Fred Durst…get off my case… The Cavalera boys make everyone sound good…

    2. Walk This Way – Aerosmith featuring Run DMC… lotsa diverse feedback on this collaborator’s gold record.

    3. Feel Good – (hed) Pe…Serj just adds a tenderly torque to an already well written track.

    4. Know Your Enemy – Rage Against The Machine…Maynard is guest appearing a few verses in… a very unknown collaboration for such a hugely selling record…

    5. Flyentology – El-P … One of the many side thoughts Trent Reznor agreed with, ‘cept this was correct.

    6. Bring The Noise – Public Enemy … The most historic mix of collaborating genres…Still fresh to hear…

    7. Deftones – Passenger — Chino & Maynard both drive the instrumentation of this track equally…

Congrats Lee! Kudos goes to X_Nasty for his valiant efforts and to all the others who sent in guesses.

Haha thanks Dennis, yeah I guess I was looking too deep into the meanings of the songs when the answer was right in front of me the whole time. I even commented on the collaboration, but never put two and two together. Congrats Lee.
