With one of the most highly anticipated rock records of the Fall (War Is The Answer), Five Finger Death Punch announce the first leg of their US headlining event, THE SHOCK AND RAW TOUR. Shadows Fall, OTEP, and 2 Cents join the bill to make this one of the biggest heavy metal events this autumn. Tickets go on sale this weekend, August 14-16; check your local box office for details.
A special fan club pre-sale will be available starting Wednesday, August 12th at 3pm local. For details visit www.fivefingerdeathpunch.com. The second leg, which will immediately follow and run through November 2, will be announced next Monday, August 17th. Tickets for those dates will go on sale that weekend of August 21st-23rd.
“We are very proud of this record and tour,” relates guitarist Zoltan Bathory. “It’s good to be going back on the road—we have been hearing it from fans for a while now asking us to come through their town again. Now that we have this new record which is a huge step forward for us, we cannot wait to unleash it to the masses live.” After the US, Death Punch will embark on a soon to be announced European Tour in November for the worldwide release of War Is The Answer, out September 22.
Five Finger Death Punch’s first single from WAR, “Hard To See” has been burning up the Active Rock charts since its debut a few weeks ago. Fan reaction to the track has been overwhelmingly positive, cementing 5FDP as one of the most popular bands in heavy metal today.

I just recently started getting into these guys. Kind of curious to see what the new disc will sound like. Wish I could catch a show but there’s nothing near me.
Ugh, this band is a disgrace to metal music.
