It really varies heavily for every member of the band, seriously, almost opposite! but I can answer for me:
From Momument To Masses – friends from the bay area, extrememly dope
Carcrashlander – label mate from portland, love the variety on his albums
Three Mile Pilot – used to be one of my favorites, and are now recording a new album
Alias – an anitcon artist that i recently discovered, ambient electronic music, makes a nice soundtrack for anything
Fugazi – the ultimate and greatest indie band ever, constantly evolving, always ahead of the curve.

Ha. We’ve been talking a lot of Fugazi on the site lately! Anyway for those unfamiliar with Shuteye they were in last years Indie of the Year.
I am not familiar with them, but I will definitely check it out now!
Nooo.. Shuteye wasn’t in IOTY ‘07 or ‘08, in fact they’re sort of a mix of different bands come together…A lot like EITS and Cactus’s (who was in IOTY). CActus’s, that’s who needs to make some recs!
