Green Day is an American rock trio formed in 1987.[1] The band has consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass guitar, vocals), and Tré Cool (drums, percussion) for the majority of its existence.

Kerplunk! is the second full-length album by punk rock band Green Day. It was released on January 17, 1992 on Lookout! Records. Kerplunk! was their last release on an independent label and was also the first album to feature their current band lineup, with Tré Cool on drums.

It’s strange because I never really got into Kerplunk. I loved 1,039/smoothed Out Slappy Hours and then I was blown away by Dookie. I even liked American Idiot. But damn, their new album sucks ass!
I thought Kerplunk! was perfect, cause again, it was the last solid effort before all the slicksters moved in. It’s also another one fo those albums, that newer Green Day fans arent even aware of…Quite sad actually, but thats why we do this…
