I was giving the new Kiss album, Sonic Boom a good listen to this weekend while freezing my ass off and I got to the third track, “Never Enough” and thought, “Hmm, this sounds very familiar” and then before I knew it I was singing along to Poison’s “Nothing But A Good Time”. Not just sort of similar like some other plagiarism suits out there but a blatant rip off.
I pulled the two tracks into my handy dandy mixer (Garage Band) and did some fooling around with them and I think you’ll agree that Brett Michaels and his Poison days might have a good case against the might Kiss powerhouse.
