Brand new video for an upcoming, highly anticipated new record, Codes and Keys from the Death Cab guys. Death Cab bassist Nicholas Harmer teams with famed illustrator/graphic designer/Andre the Giant aficionado Shepard Fairey for this visual depiction of life as a stencil producer … who uses Death Cab lyrics as inspiration. Codes and Keys is out May 31 via Atlantic Records.

This is a really good song and video. I like how pretty much every line in the song can be turned into an advertising slogan. Also, with the song Home Is A Fire, it’s such a gentle track and yet it has a chaotic feel to it. A nice new direction for Death Cab For Cutie. I now, too, am anticipating the full album.
agreed, epic video and song, looking forward to Codes and Keys
