One of the most unique and sensational groups today isn’t from North America or London or even Sweeden.  I’m referring to the one and only Monotonix. This trio from Tel Aviv has staked their reputation on their incomparable live shows.  Like the many great, legendary live bands before them, you truly don’t know what exactly to expect when you watch them perform. The normal antics usually include the band playing somewhere besides the stage, trash cans being thrown and passed around, the drum kit coming apart and being evenly dispersed among the crowd. Their explosive and invigorating sets represent chaos at it’s finest. This footage is from Bumbershoot Fest in 2008. According to who posted it, Monotonix only got to play for about fourteen minutes security shut them down.   Make sure to catch them live when you get the opportunity!

It looks like a bunch of Borat’s! Groovy track though. Thanks for the introduction.
