Has anyone else been curious about Wiz Khalifa lately or is it just me? The mixtape trend in hip-hop has been in practice long enough now to leave its mark. It has affected not only this genre, but rock and pop also. The time when an artist or band only releases new material every year or two is quickly coming to an end. Fans now expect their favorites that they look up to constantly be on the grind, putting out new music. So even though Wiz dropped his debut album for Atlantic this year, Rolling Papers, and has been touring the world, I for one have been hoping he would give us an early Christmas gift.

I guess wishes do sometimes still come true! The first bit of news I have is a new song that has appeared online called “Dessert“. I will give you one guess as to what his favorite dessert is! It is a very short tune with an accompanying video shot in the studio, directed by Bill Paladino. The other news is related to the upcoming movie with Snoop Dogg, Mac and Devin Go To High School. They have an accompanying soundtrack, and will also be touring together briefly. In preparation, they have treated us with a new single featuring none other than Bruno Mars, called “Young, Wild & Free”. The tour dates listed below are quickly approaching, and the soundtrack is scheduled out December 13th.  Also listed is another song from the movie, which actually premiered last year.
