I liked Camacho – “Empire” best, and apparently so does everyone else! The last 3 weren’t bad either. And does Ian James totally sound like John Mayer, or is it just me?
Thanks dude… Appreciate the love right now yall :)
I was jammin this whole podcast tho… def a sick lineup! Awesome job Musicemissions!
Becoming Machine(s) is awesome! I love the sound. I want to hear more.
Hey Camacho, what is your Facebook or twitter link?
The voting results have been updated to reflect only one voter per artist and … (EDIT) only one vote per IP address. We do not care if you change user names, if the vote is registered under the same IP address, it will be removed. Thank you for your understanding… Let’s keep this fair…
Hey! thanks for the votes! The Quartet of Woah!
I dig The Quartet of Woah too

Yes, a very good compilation of unsigned artists. I really enjoyed Statue Of Liberty, Crystal Yates, The Moth and the Flame, Until Dawn and The Quartet of Woah (giving a great Queens of the Stone Age vibe) but ultimately went for the podcast openers, Yes Nice. Thanks for compiling Brian, great job again and an honor for the 100th podcast.
This is a Great Comp. Quartet of Whoa is AWESOME! Queens of the Stone Age meets Radiohead meets the Beatles meets Queen, didn’t ever think that I would hear a mix like that ever work, but holy crap its badass. Keep up the great work guys!
Quartet of Woah! gets my vote!!! i liked it all but Woah i really really likes
I do get why people like Camache not my cup of tea but then again nothing in todays top 40 is something I like. I tend to only like rap when the lyrics are genius (eminem) or there is a purpose behind the words (Holy Horeshit Batman!, Gym Class Heroes) … I have no idea how helpless got that many votes. I went with Statue of Liberty they are good definitely worth signing.
THE RISING SUN ALL STARS FTW!
Rising Star All Stars all the way!!
Rising sun damn it…
whooo the…!
WHO THE FUCKKKKKKKK!
the polls have been updated due to multiple votes from same user name and/or IP address.
I loved “Selfish” by Nikki Lorenzo—She has a beautiful voice and is so captivating.
Thanks Jordan!!!
It’s amazing for us that in a universe of 1200 bands we’ve been selected! not only that we are the only portuguese band here! Rock on!!!
The QUARTET OF WOAH with “Could This Man”
is highly aproved of.
The QUARTET OF WOAH with “Could This Man” rules!|
how long are the polls open?
The polls will close on December 31st…
The voting results have been adjusted once again, due to multiple votes by one user or IP address… The next artist we find to be cheating, will be disqualified, please don’t destroy the spirit of this very fair contest.
It’s not a matter of cheating and I think I speak for every band involved. You guys must remember that most of people vote while at work which means the same IP address unfortunately… for example, on the first day I had everyone on my company voting for us of course (ehehh) but once again we all have the same IP address, so all those votes were deleted. We already had 60 something votes and I see that we’re down to 49 (!)… I think this is something that Music Emissions should try to find a solution and let the same IP put 2 or 3 votes for example. What’s the meaning of posting this on FB, Myspace, newsletters, friends, etc, if in the end bands may end up being desqualified for “cheating”?
Best!
The Quartet of Woah!
That’s a very good point TQW, I’ve gone over the polling results relentlessly, and to be quite bold, that’s why you still have 49 votes. We’ve only removed multiple votes by the EXACT same user. This does not include slight variations of user names created and used only to vote. Bottom line, we do not want Music Emissions turned into a hollow padding. So every time you or your fans create an additional user account just to vote, it affects the community…Please understand, this is what were trying to deter, not devalue your fanship.
Rather than argue over these types of things, the bands of this contest should be pulling together, trading information, booking shows for each other. Please, I beg of you, do not question the polling again. No it’s not perfect, like everything else of this magnitude. I assure you, it is fair and you have not been docked for any votes you deserved.
by the way, you’re winning, nice job of getting your fans to back you!
It wasn’t our intention to question the pole nor the whole contest. For us this is great, getting our sound overseas being heard by people that otherwise woud’nt ever know about our existence, so let us stress out that we did not wan to offend the great job you guys are doing and we appologize if it sounded that way.
You guys rock!
Thank you for the words and for the clear reply.
TQW!
very cool, hey check out our snipits contest in the next few mins…Dream Theatre, Rush and Opeth albums on the line!
