Lol, great job Kevin, I forgot about Brown Shoe!
Never forget the Brown Shoe.
To shed a little light on my choices, let me just say that The Hunter was bar-none the best album I’ve heard this year. Nothing else really came close for me. Two Devin Townsend albums made the list, which shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows my tastes in music. Also, this was a big year for Black Metal from my perspective, as three (possibly four with the Encoffination album that has some BM influences) black metal albums made my list. The Oxford Coma were a late surprise this year, and the only EP to make my list. The bottom part is mostly a joke, but then again…it’s also fairly serious. Was a pretty damn good year for music, though. That’s for sure.
A few of honorable mentions for my album list:
Tom Waits – Bad As Me
Symphony X – Iconoclast
Angels and Airwaves – Love Part 2
