Spread the word

Back in the day, when this place was crawling with forums and chats about random acts of music, we used to poll ourselves to see which release by an artist not only set them atop of the industry but stapled them in as musical gods.

Electronic music is finally beginning to make it’s mark on mainstream culture. From festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival and Lights All Night to Skrillex winning Grammy awards, there is no turning back. And when tracing the roots of American electronic music, it’s near impossible to overestimate the influence of The Crystal Method. A new movie, Re:Generation Music Project, will debut in theaters this week and next, featuring both Crystal Method and Skrillex. What is their best record? Love your picks, Benjy. You know this…but I’m not eligible for this week. I’m likely to just say the fact they were a part of the Spawn soundtrack lol.
