Back in the day, when this place was crawling with forums and chats about random acts of music, we used to poll ourselves to see which release by an artist not only set them atop of the industry but stapled them in as musical gods.
Port Of Morrow is the fourth album from the indie rockers The Shins, and their first since 2007. James Mercer, also well known for his other project Broken Bells, is the only original member now left. The band, now based in Portland, OR, have launched a brand new interactive website that allows fans to hear music from the band’s back catalogue, watch exclusive video content and listen to their brand new album Port of Morrow, in its entirety. The website, Journey To The Port of Morrow, was designed by Bristol-based agency Pretty Good for Columbia Records, and also gives fans an opportunity to win a guitar signed by the frontman James Mercer.
