Usher Covers Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks”
The iconic R&B and urban musician Usher just released a new CD, Looking For Myself, yesterday. It’s his 7th studio album, and decided to try some different publicity moves this time around. Most still expect this new record to debut in the #1 spot next week after the numbers are tallied next week. Initially reported via the site Rap-Up,Raymond just appeared on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s “Live Lounge.” Appearing alongside a guitar in hand, he surprised everyone by performing a cover of Foster the People’s Top 40 hit “Pumped Up Kicks.”

Awesome cover song! Who’d thought that Usher of all peeps would cover that song? What next, Flava Flav covers “Somebody That I Used To Know”? LMAO
I like this cover. Was a little leery of the trendy electronica tracks I heard during his live streaming concert on Youtube this week.
