Brand new this week is another music video from Portland’s The Shins. This Hiro Murai-directed clip of “It’s Only Life” features James Mercer trapped in an apocalyptic suburbia by a group of monsters. The director also most recently did St. Vincent’s “Cheerleader”, and “Mind Control” from the Brooklyn band Friends. In the past he has worked with everyone from Usher to Bloc Party to Scissor Sisters.
