The 134th Canadian National Exhibition opened on Friday, August 17th, and runs until Labour Day. The CNE, as it’s known around Toronto, sees more than a million visitors pass through the Princes’ Gates annually. One of the biggest attractions has always been the free concerts at the historic Bandshell. 2012 should be no exception; among the homegrown acts I would recommend people check out are Big Sugar, Arkells with special guests The Darcys, and the recently reunited Tea Party.
